IN THE WORLD
U-earth® has developed a whole new product leveraging the power of biotechnology. It doesn’t just block air contaminants on the mask surface, it destroys them inside the mask.
150-200H OF USE
Common reusable personal protection masks are like all membrane filters, which have a downside due to potential accumulation and growth of bacteria between the layers which proliferate between uses. This is why disposable masks are used in medical environments and should not be used for more than one shift.
The refill contains a self-sanitizing internal layer, an innovative technology that is natural and absolutely non-toxic for humans, which offers guaranteed results for at least 150-200 hours of effective use.
Together with a team of Italian researchers, we have identified a molecule - a polymeric mixture containing a natural active ingredient - capable of inhibiting the growth of bacteria and microbes, which severely limits the risk of contracting multidrug-resistant microorganisms and transmitting pathogens between humans. This is affixed to a layer of filtration fabric thanks to a proprietary procedure.
During laboratory tests, the new molecule identified by U-earth® researchers has demonstrated an incredible power to reduce the bacterial load and is fully effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
DEVELOPED BY U-EARTH®
Thanks to its unique ingredients, the proprietary Bio-Layer™ formula kills pathogens instead of simply blocking them. It protects you as well as those around you.
A picture is worth a thousand words. At U-Earth, we take a hands-on approach to testing the effectiveness of our products. See below for the microscopic images of U-Mask that show how the microbes* are destroyed upon our exclusive, patent-pending Bio-Layer™.
*virus H1N1, E. coli, Stafilococco aureus, aerosolised P. aeruginosa.
OF THE NEW REFILL
U-Mask has been specifically designed to limit contagion between individuals and is the perfect personal protection shield to lower exposure to airborne diseases and contaminants both for the wearer and those around them.
Outside air without any mask
The test activities were conducted at the Clodia MICROBIOLOGY LABS and BIOTECH R&D of the Bolzano which operates in compliance with the UNI EN ISO CEI / IEC 17025: 2018 standard
Reference standard for textile materials: EN ISO 20743; UNI EN ISO 20645: 2005; ASTM E 2149-01; UNI 8986
The natural active principle “BioLayer Mix” (Patent Pending) conforms to ISO 22196: 2007, tested on positive and negative gram bacteria
*U-Mask Model Two is not certified as a DPI but as a Class I Medical Device.
